We bought a bus!

Through the years, we have enjoyed taking our unique performances to locations outside of Lethbridge and southern Alberta. Most recently, in spring 2024, we traveled to Neerlandia, Lacombe, Red Deer and Sylvan Lake, Alberta. In April 2025, we were able to go perform in Texas. Until this year, our mode of travel for extended, yearly tours has included private vehicles with a trailer for the theatre equipment.

As this mode of transportation proved hard on people’s vehicles, we are pleased to announce that, due to the support of many this fall, we have purchased a bus that will serve us well on our future trips. Having a bus for transportation and cartage allows us to travel further and more frequently. However, now that we have a bus, there are also funds needed for maintenance and upkeep to keep it safe for travel.

We were and are extremely thankful to all our supporters for providing enough donations that we were able to purchase our own bus at the beginning of the year. After a safety inspection, many updates, and renovations, the ImmanuBus made the journey to and from Texas in April. However, the journey did not come without some unexpected breakdowns and necessary repairs.

Those updates, renovations, and repairs had to be financed, and to pay them off we need to raise another $20,000 - which is remaining from our original goal of $50,000.
