Sara Guthmiller Memorial Bursary

    Sara was a (very!) enthusiastic member of the ImmanueLights for a season and a half, and one of our biggest fans for several years before she could join. She is the reason why some of our current members are part of the group, as Sara directly invited them to join in the fun. Sadly, after a surprisingly rapid onset of cancer in the fall of 2021, God called her home to Himself on January 10th 2022. It was a terrible blow to our members and leaders; Sara is sorely missed, and after creating two tribute routines for her funeral, we continue to perform them in many of our shows.

    Our longer-lasting tribute to Sara is to honour her love, self-sacrifice, and enthusiasm with this Memorial Bursary for our members from families that struggle with the cost of being a member of iLoL. If you – as an individual or as a business – would like to keep Sara's memory alive and help the members Sara would have wanted to help, would you consider making a single or ongoing monthly contribution?
